Each sunflower is made from individually cut pieces of yellow stained glass, with natural variations in color and texture that come alive when the light passes through. Textured amber glass forms the centers, while black-patinated solder lines give the petals definition and contrast.

The two sunflower halves sit in handcrafted cherry wood bookend bases, creating a single sunflower-inspired composition around your books. The stained glass panels are removable from the wooden bases, allowing each piece to be carefully handled, cleaned, or packed away.
